Soul Power rocks Delhi

The rain couldn't stop the 4 members' band consisting of three from Manipur and one from North India to win the rock competitions at "bacchanalia" of Hindu college held on the 24th of September 2005.

The auditorium was quite jam-packed with some of the band supporter and other particularly consisting of north Indian people but they cheers when the band sing the number from Creed "my sacrifice", Audioslaves "Be yourself", Nickelback "How you remind me", Defaults "Wasting my time";



The auditorium was roared with the sounds of clapping, the vocalist was amazing he didn't showing any tiredness and he look quite refreshing after every song he sings, the lead guitarist do have some problem while playing a track but he too manage it nicely, the bassist have played very well while the drummers need to practice more if they want to perform in bigger platforms and if I have to give them star then I'll give them 3.5 out of 5 .





While playing do have some problem but the band members nicely make up the entire problem and did not repeat the errors on the next song and they sing the every song with such a good nature not exaggerating like the others band.

Totally 7 seven band mainly from Delhi played great music but the trophies of rupees 6000 and some other goodies was name to the band "SOUL POWER", when the Organizers announce all the band members was jumping up at the stage while the audience was demanding for one more song but they could not because it was quite late and the sound people has pull out all the plug.



We feel really proud that it's the first major winning of a band where the members consist particularly of the North-Eastern people in Delhi.









The name of the band is "SOUL POWER" and the members are

Siddhartha -Vocals (Manipur)
Socrates -Guitars (Manipur)
Dannysons -Bass Guitars (Manipur)
Parteek -Drummers (Uttar Pradesh)

We look forward for more such good music from them and wish them for more success in their careers as good musicians.
